Teaching Assistants

Meet our team of incredible teaching assistants

Centre Stage would not be able to deliver the standard of our lessons without the help from our dedicated and passionate team of teaching assistants. Our assistants work hard in supporting the teacher to ensure all students needs are met and allow us to offer more personalised and 121 tuition time within a community class. Our teaching assistants hold current DBS, First Aid & Safeguarding certificates.

Lottie

Lottie joined Centre Stage at the age of 12. Lottie has taken part in many showcases, competitions and professional jobs , including credits such as Virgin Active, Fit As A Fiddle Festival and Freight Island. Her acrobatics team achieved an elite championship title in 2022 and 2023. In 2020, she began volunteering as a teaching assistant at Centre Stage to achieve her bronze and silver DofE awards and continues to develop her skills as a teaching assistant weekly.

A little note from Lottie:

"Although i joined later than many of my friends at Centre Stage, I was so appreciative of the welcoming environment that everyone provided alongside all the incredible opportunities and experiences I have gained. I hope to continue with teaching at Centre Stage and encourage and inspire the next generations of incredible dancers!"

George

George joined Centre Stage at the age of 7. George started his dance journey competing in an all boys Street dance crew "Wolfpack" and achieved many gold places across the UK. When he was only 12yrs old, George was asked to join the Over16 Advanced team District where he found himself dancing alongside many of the staff members. George recently became the UK Contemporary Champion with his team Subliminal. In 2021 he joined the student assistant program at Centre Stage and soon got asked to help teach a new all boys crew 'Wolfpack" weekly. Geogre helped inspire the boys to their first Gold in the UK Championships Blackpool 2023!!

A little note from George:

"All I've ever wanted to do is to be able to spend my time dancing with the most amazing and talented people at Centre Stage and I'm proud to say that i can do that every week. Ive made the most amazing friends here and i wouldn't change any part of my journey. I certainly wouldn't be the person i am today without Centre Stage.

Chloe

Chloe joined Centre Stage at the age of 8 in 2016 where she joined the team New Generation. Due to her progression, Chloe was invited to take part in the UDO Championships with Centre Stages Elite Company team where they won the Over 18s and qualified for the World Championships. Chloe then started to study Contemporary dance and recently became a UK Contemporary Champion with her team Subliminal. Chloe has recently joined our student assisting team and helps out in Contemporary & Street dance classes each week.

A little note from Chloe:

"I love being a part of the CS Family because of the way everyone supports each other and provides a feeling of unity. When i first started Centre Stage i was really shy, but being part of such a welcoming and encouraging group has helped me build up my confidence. This has got me to the point where i am confident enough to assist and teach classes. I hope to share my love of dance to the younger generation of Centre Stage"

Not forgetting the amazing work from our team of up and coming trainee student assistants who commit to help out each week- Zara, Leah, Moon, Mia. Donna.
